mounting a new scsi cdrom

Okay I just moved a CDR I have from a old machine to a new one. The new
machine has a fresh install on it, but was done before I installed the
CDR. It's a supported CDR and worked great under the old machine. My
touble is mounting the drive. 

mount /dev/sda1 -t iso9660 /mnt/cdrom gives me errors

It's the only scsi device in the machine, what device do I use
(/dev/sd?)?
