Maybe I'm naive but it was an honest question motivated by my desire to
"respond" to my friend at MS.  So no flames but I would be really
interested in everyone's comments.  I'll get the ball rolling:  

I wonder if, as one of the originators of UNIX, KT is a little unhappy to
see Linux take off the way it has since it's not UNIX.  I mean, if we think
MS might be a little scared, imagine how real UN*X vendors must feel...

And then OTOH, since my experience on Intel's has been radically different
(Linux never dies on my machines whilst Windows crashes if I breath too
heavily), I wonder if there is something to what he says or something I
don't know about Linux on other platforms.  Again, I'm honestly interested.
