Ben, I know others have made this point but I'll echo it in my own words:
RH doesn't think Linux is ready to challenge Windows. Windows is unstable
in part because it tries to support everything. Linux is getting better
all the time but it doesn't support everything. Also, I think the process
of upgrading Linux in the least way needs to be as breathlessly easy as is
the install before you think about putting it in front of the likes of my
mother and mother-in-law. Because if Linux gets the reputation that it's
very difficult, then Linux is dead in that market regardless of future
enhancements.
