The wisdom I've read suggests that just serving pages is easily handled and
bandwidth is usually the problem.  But perhaps your php will slow things.
I know no Linux adherents are happy with Mindcraft's
(http://www.mindcraft.com) test results, but is their WebStone flawed?  It
claims to be open source...
