Apparently, Star Division knew. They know now. They probably knew
when they wrote the buggy code that they weren't doing something
smart.
Where's their fix?

Right... which means, don't use Star Office, because they muck around
with internals. How is this any different from the scores of Windows
programs which broke between Windows 3.1 and 98?

And guess what? It'll still be broken on any other OS using glibc2.1.
And until Star Division fixes their code, it'll still be broken.
