Hello,

I have been experiencing a problem with my Linux recently. When I
from my machine (choipc.ele - Linux) login to our Unix remote machine
(ultra.ele), I cannot run some of the applications.
For example, I can run "xeyes" or "xclock" but I cannot run "xfig".
When I run xfig on the remote serever (ultra), nothing comes up on the
screen and after a few minutes I get the following message:

XIO:  fatal IO error 145 (unknown error) on X server "choipc.ele:0.0"
      after 204 requests (92 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

[1]    Exit 1                        xfig


I also noticed that when I exit Xwindows the following messgae
appears:

waiting for xwindows to shut down Mach64Program ClkMach64Ct: warning
Q<10.66666667

I tried to reconfigure Xwindows, but the problem was not solved.
I would appreciate it if you could help me with this problem.
