Sorry to stretch this tread, but now that the Tylenol has kicked in
(primarily due to this thread) I want to express my 0010-bits.
This list is great! Where else can we obtain such a wide variety of
information from such a wide variety of experts? Additionally, where else
can we get the same level of opinions?
My own opinion (Not necessarily that of my employer) is that we [the
participants of this list] sometimes tend to expend a great deal of energy
arguing the details of items that have little to do with LINUX
administration per se. For crying out loud, Steve works for Redhat and
willingly (I assume) participates as a member of this list. Is it really
that complicated? Put into context, we should all realize that Steve is
spending energy attempting to field questions and provide insight based upon
his expertise.
Clearly, I would submit that any Redhat employee who wishes to post on this
list would be a valuable asset.
