Re: RH6.0 and Linux pronunciation at CompUSA



Back in the '50s the phonics rules said a vowel followed by two consonants
was short, and if followed by a consonant a vowel, twould be long...  with
some exceptions of course..    Miss Welp would have had some fun putting her
foot down on this thread...  <G>
