Xclient problemo

Problem:
Since upgrading to 6.0, The Xclient I use on windoze client boxes
don't work no more.
Checked /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess & all is as it was.
Nothing in logs.
On the client box it will list server as broadcasting, but access just 
seems to die & it's not listed after.

I suspect it has to do with gdm, but can't find where to allow or
setup. 

Ideas?
