Re: RPM doesn't do as it is told.



What you have to do in this case is uninstall the rpm that is causing the 
problem.  In this case, rpm -e netscape-navigator, and rpm -e netscape-
communicator.  The rpm -Uvh netscape-common, which will now work, 
followed by rpm -i both of the other packages.  (Someone had to teach 
me, too.)  ^_^  It was too logical for me.
