It's DEFINITELY not possible. There was a debate on the kernel list
about this very issue. What would be required is for the kernel build
itself to save all the options. Someone once proposed adding a /proc
file that would list them all, but Linus shot it down saying it would
waste space, and I think there was another disadvantage as well.
So what is needed is simply to keep all your configuration files and
somehow find a way to associate them with each kernel you build.
