Didn't work, unfortuunately, at least not for me.  I removed the RH
packages and installed the download from Netscape, but I'm still seeing
the same behavior.  http://www.uet.com is my test site - if I have java
enabled it crashes Netscape immediately;  if I disable java it comes up
fine.

(note - I have no connection with UET and I'll agree with you now that
it's an incredibly ugly site!   It just happens to be a good test case
for this bug).
