Hello all,
I have had BIND 4 something running fine, however I decided to up to
BIND 8...
after removing 4 and loading the 8 RPM, I can't get it to work,
I changed /etc/named.boot to /etc/named.conf and changed the file to the
8 format,
my data files are as they were before...
I used DNS & BIND from O'Reilly as a reference and everything seems
fine,
I also made sure that /etc/sysconfig/network has my domain name and that
resolv.conf references the nameserver...
But it doesn't work,
when trying an nslookup I keep getting a "server failed" error,
any tips on what I may be doing wrong?
thanks,
Ahbaid.
