Re: BIND 4 to 8



Thank you all for your helpful suggestions,

actually the mistake was mine, I was missing a ";" in my named.conf file,

after this everything worked beautifully...

I discovered this by checking my /var/log/messages file...

I think someone mentioned that the data file from 4 cannot work wit 8, that's
untrue,

according to the 3rd edition of DNS & BIND, and as I experienced myself,

all that was needed was to modify my named.conf file...
