Netscape and ISP proxy

Hello,

When I try to enter my Internet Service Provider proxy address in Netscape,
under EDIT, PREFERENCES, ADVANCED, PROXIES, MANUAL PROXY CONFIGURATION,
Netscape is giving a message saying that this address is unknown. And it
does not take it. So far, I connect to the internet directly, which makes
the connection slower then what I have under Windows95, where I could enter
my ISP proxy address. Does someone has a clue? Kindly advise.
