Echo technology

Hi All,

I use net2phone sometimes, but echoes can be a problem,

1) Is there an equivalent software available for Linux?

2) Is there any company working on echo reduction technologies
    running on Linux? Or any company working on it at all?

I may try to play with this on Linux...
