RE: DSL Question



Let me try and explain in a little more detail what I think others have been 
trying to do.

It will work identically to your current setup. However, you will be using a 
second ethernet card instead of the modem for the DSL, so you will need to 
do some routing changes, moving the settings for ppp0 to the new eth? 
interface.

I found that the easiest setup was to setup the default route through the 
DSL interface, and setup an explicit route for your private 192.168.0.x (or 
whatever yolu are using)

I actually kept my dialup interface up while switching over, and ran both 
for a few days before I knew all my DNS changes had taken effect.
