Re: named entries in /var/log/messages

AFAIK, these entries don't tell you anything you need to
know, other than that named is alive and kicking. You can
turn them off by editing /etc/syslog.conf to add
";daemon.none" (without the quotes, of course) to the line
that defines logging to /var/log/messages.
That worked for me, but the real gurus out there may know
whether or not this is a good thing to do.
