AGP Accelerated graphics boards?

Hi,

	I am advicong a friend of mine about buying a new accelerated board.  He
runs windows and I have convinced him to start learning the linux
ways.Therefore I was thinking about an AGP vodoo 3000 or a AGP Diamont
Stealth III (He told that he would prefer those ones), but I would like to
know if I would be able to make them work under linux even if it is only at
SVGA mode (not in VGA because it would not suit his needs). Thanks.
