ARGG!! Wrong kernel, now what!?

I just installed the secure server edition of RH 6.0 on a Dell power edge
dual PII (only one CPU populated) server. I installed the OS, not Dell.

I'm trying to bring up an old Intel nic but when I do it tells me that the
module (eexpress.o) was compiled using the wrong kernel. The message says,
approximately, that the 2.2.15 kernel was used to build but I'm running
2.2.15smp. When I force it to load, there are a bunch of unresolved
dependencies.

So, what do I do now? I found /usr/src/linux/drivers/Makefile and it
doesn't seem to know about /net so 'make net' gives me an error like
"/Rules.make doesn't exist" And simply trying to compile
/usr/src/linux/drivers/eexpress.c resulted in a few dozen errors. I could
use some help!

BTW, why did the other driver (eexpro.o) that the install configured work?

Thanks!
