Hi All,

firstly thanks for the help on the 128Megs of RAM question, but I still
didn't get it to work, it shows up fine under Winblows so I know that
it's not a hardware problem...

Can someone please give me the exact line to place in lilo.conf? Does it
go as the first line?

Here are my other questions, all help is welcome...

1) How do I establish whether I'm using glibc or libc5? I use RH5.1

2) How does one install JRE 1.1.6 V5 from blackdown.org?

3) I have an ATX system, can linux do an auto power off like winblows?

4) Has anyone installed Oracle 8i v8.1.5 on Linux? How did you use JRE
to start the installer?

5) I have an S3 Virge Video Card, my WindowManager starts fine, but
sometimes when I exit back to the login screen, the machine hangs with
weird vertical red stripes on the screen... if I do a shutdown from
within my Window Manager, the shutdown text messages are all screwed up
and mixed all over the place....
