Dear folks,
We have two HP printers with JetDirect boxes. When I print to them
using TCP/IP, an extra page appears after the print job that contains
the following four lines of text in 12pt Courier font:
User: nicku
Host: nickpc.tyee.vtc.edu.hk
Class: nickpc.tyee.vtc.edu.hk
Job: stdin
The sh entry is present in the printcap entries; here is one of them:
##PRINTTOOL3## REMOTE
ljpq1:\
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/ljpq1:\
:mx#0:\
:lp=/dev/null:\
:sh:\
:rm=202.40.215.169:\
:rp=raw:
Any idea on how to stop this terrible waste of trees?
