I have a notebook with the following PCMCIA
cards:
i) Xircom CreditCard Modem 33.6
(CM33)
ii) 3Com Etherlink III LAN PC Card
(3C589C)
Both could work together previously on Windoze
95.
I have since thrown that out and installed RH6.0 with 2.2.12
kernel running PCMCIA-CS-3.1.1
I could only get one of the card to work at anyone time. There
seems to be a conflict on IRQs. I even specified the "irq_list=x"
parameter in "/etc/pcmcia/config" but that got both of them to start
but the 3C589C (now with the Link LED on) will not be bound to
"eth0".
Anybody have the knowledge to work this problem
out?
