I have not had a chance to recompile the program on my Linux but but I did find
some pointer bugs. I've added code to check for null values before processing a
value and redid some of the login to make it smoother.
As a separate note; I setup the environment used by the program on the Sun
system based on the Linux system so all the environment variables were defined
when I ran the program. I also made sure that tere were dummy data files.
Thanks to everyone who answered my email. I know this was not the right place
to post the question but I was not getting any responses in the C language
groups I posted to.
