Do you mean /etc/hosts.allow? I didn't think that had anything to do with
access.
In any case, I did some more research today and I was told the RPMs I was
using were compiled so X forwarding was disabled. If that's the case,
then would that explain what I'm getting:
======================================================================
jtseng 10 1 0 1's password:
Warning: Remote host denied X11 forwarding.
Last login: Sat Jan 1 23:48:49 2000 from 10.1.0.3
No mail.
[jtseng granite jtseng]$ echo $DISPLAY
[jtseng granite jtseng]$
======================================================================
X apps would work only after I did "export DISPLAY" with my Linux client
(not for WinNT/Exceed/ssh). Does anyone know where I could find X
forwarding RPMs?
Just for yucks and giggles I also downloaded the source code and compiled
it. I couldn't even log in from ssh and was only able to get in after I
reinstalled the RPMs.
