modprobe: can't locate module

since our upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1 I've been seeing this in our 
logfiles a lot. can someone enlightne me as to what they relate to 
and how I might stop them happening.


modprobe: can't locate module binfmt-0000

and

modprobe: can't locate module char-major-108
