Re: mount: RPC: Unable to receive; errno = Connection refused

Here's an odd one: I can mount NeXT filesystems on either Linux machine, but I can't mount Linux filesystems across any pairing of the machines. Hmmm, there's obviously more to mounts than /etc/exports and /etc/hosts.allow.

I recently upgraded from 6.1 to 6.2, and now I can't mount files between two RH 6.2 systems. I get the error

Samba mounts work fine. I have both machines in /etc/hosts.allow on both machines, and rlogin works fine.

Does this ring any bells?

Thanks,
Julius
