gdm.conf

After some experimentation, I have determined that deleting the comment
character in the last line of gdm.conf will do nothing but lock up the
machine. This is doubtless because it is trying to launch a second
X-server on the same hardware--which is at best futile.
What's really needed is a second gdm session on another virtual console.
Does anyone know how to make this happen? There don't seem to be any gdm
man pages on my RHL 6.2 system, and the GNOME site doesn't have much to
say on the subject. Please assist.
