Linux PostScript Forms Processor?

All,

Are there any packages for Linux similar to JetForm in
the open source arena?  What we're looking for is
something where we could define a template page with a
bunch of "blanks" in it and then "fill in the blanks"
either directly from a database or via the
command-line (since we could write a wrapper which
gets data from the database and then passes it in via
the CL).
