which Files are needed for network parameter settings

Hello friends,

I want to develop a small graphical application to update the following
network parameters:
		1. Machine IP address
		2. subnet mask
		3. Gateway
		4. Host name
		5. Domain Name
		6. SMTP server
		7. Name server

Can anybody guide me as to which files need to be modified to incorporate
these changes.
