Hey all.
I've got a little problem using slrn on a local nntp server I just setup.
The server is up and running but whenever I try to use slrn on it,
I get:
[seyman munshine seyman]$ slrn -f /home/seyman/.newsrc -create -h localhost
slrn 0.9.6.4 (Mar 1 2001 18:52:47)
Reading startup file /usr/lib/slrn/slrn.rc.
Reading startup file /home/seyman/.slrnrc.
Using newsrc file /home/seyman/.newsrc for server localhost.
Connecting to host localhost ...
Connected to host. Posting Ok.
--The next step may take a while if the NNTP connection is slow.--
Creating /home/seyman/.newsrc.slrn fatal error:
Server failed LIST ACTIVE.
I thought this was a problem on a server side and decided to test it
using telnet:
[seyman munshine seyman]$ telnet localhost 119
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.localdomain.
