Re: limit ftp users to homedir

At 06:49 PM 8/1/01 +0200, you wrote:
I want to restrict all ftp users to their own homedirectory. In this case
the ftpd should use internal ls. In default every ftp user (except
anonymous) can browse everywhere on the server.

I use RH 7.1 and WU-FTPD. How can I get this work?

if you are using the standard password file i
think you can just set them like this:

/home/ftp/./userfoo

as opposed to

/home/ftp/userfoo

i believe wu interprets this to jail them
in.

personally, i would change my ftp server
to proftpd but thats just opinion.
