/sbin/swapoff /SWAP
Then edit fstab and take it out.
I'd leave it for a little while before deleting it. If you start having
crahses or lockups, you can always add it back it. It's easier that
creating it from scratch, though that can be done, too. 'man mkswap'
gives an example for, I think, a 64MB swapfile.
