raid patch 0.90

I'm trying to find the raid-0.90 patch for the kernel (running 2.2.14).
I'm running RH 6.2. The RH6.2 CDs have an RPM on it, raidtools-0.90
6.xxx.rpm and it was already installed on the system when I ran rpm -i
on it.
Yet, when I recompile the kernel, I can't get it to mount the file
system (probably because the partitions are classed as RAID).
So, the generic kernel binary that comes with RH 6.2 does boot up the
system in RAID just fine. But when I compile my own kernel, it
doesn't. Docs say that I should install the RAID 9.90 patch (which
probably isn't the same thing as raidtools.
Where can I find this patch?
=== Al
