I never delved deeply. I presumed 'squid -z' worked just fine. Every
time I failed to run it, squid refused work. Every time I did run it,
squid chugged along for a little while (seconds) then stopped. I start
squid and it worked.
I never set up the access levels part, so I can't say how that
works/doesn't work.
