You are correct, as long as all dependencies are in the same directory.

That's not the same as the available rpms being released as supported.
They can be created wnd not tested, they can be created and quick tests
run, etc. Support usually follows after sufficient testing is performed
to satisfy the creator(s) that bugs have been worked to a minimum or are
nonexistent.

OK. Get the source and build it.

And if you had the other associated duties that you might have if
working at redhat, you might not have the time either. Therefore your
answer might be indentical. But, we won't likely know that any time
soon.

But, you could still start building them yourself, and once finished,
make them available to others (assuming you have that means available)
or at least be satisfied with having them yourself.

Or you can, as you're doing now, either find a way to get all
dependencies covered or wait for someone else to fix it all up and
release it.
