It is a DNS problem. It is trying to do forward and reverse DNS on the host
name. Check the /etc/hosts file and make sure there is an entry that
corresponds to the Dj entry in the sendmail.cf file.

Just wondering something here. We have a computer here that now waits a
long long
time to get by the sendmail portion of a 'reboot'.
I thought it might be something to do with his '/etc/host ' file, but it
turned out not to be the case.
If not the 'host' file what else could it be??
