No...I am not in control of the name server and it is an @ Home name server....so I don't think the admin would want to put down his coffee....

 

I thought there might be a way for me to do it...but if not I will just have to wait!!!

Are you referring to a name server that you have control over? If so and the zone is loaded just do a /etc/rc.d/init.d/named restart or reload. If you are not in control over it then you could possibly get the admin of the server to re-cache the zone so it shows up on an nslookup.

Quick question, if there anyway that I can force a Name Server to get an updated zone?? If so, How?? Or do I have to wait until it updates on its own?
