It is actually bad kharma between the latest glibc builds and some of
the recent java environments. Glibc changed the way parts of the stack
are structured. In my case, this means Mozilla bombs on most of the java
sites out there since Mozilla gets there java build from Sun. There is
supposed to be a fix in the works but it has been a while in coming...

The "LD_ASSUME.." variable does not work for me. YMMV....
