in fact not going to linux i tried to solve w98/95 communication problem but
failed. suddenly i reinstalled my w95 nic and found ok.
beleve me it was working fine before when eth0 was not configured in
w98+linux pc. according to your advice i disabled pnp os = no
naturaly kudzu did't detect nic. now i can't configure eth0.
as far as i know my rtl8019 pci is ne competeble. am choosing ne/ne2k-pci
with/without several params but insmod showing errors like '...invalid IO or
IRQ parameteres...'
