Re: newbie: up2date snafu (more info)



That did it. I uninstalled all the openssh and openssl RPMs and
re-installed the old versions  from the original CD and I've got a
working up2date progam. Apparently, the openssh/openssl RPMs that
up2date found were for a glibc2.2 system. 

I guess there's a reason the up2date program has the reputation that it
has. Sorry to have interrupted the list...

(I should be kicked off this list now... Top posting AND responding to
my own posts... shame, shame)
