Anyone see any p0roblems with the lockd in RH 7.1?

I replaced our mail server with a RH 7.1 machine (will all updates as of
Sunday). Now several Irix servers that mount the /var/spool/mail
partition from the Red Hat machine cannot send mail, here is what
'mailq' says:

The Irix systems are unable to obtain locks from the RH machine. Just
for the hell of it, I enabled pretty much everything in /etc/xinetd.d/
except the stuff I knew had no effect. I verified that lockmgr is
working using rpcinfo. These systems are on all the same LAN so no
router/firewall between them.

Just FYI: The mail server was running SuSE 7.1 and it did not have this
problem.

Does anyone have any ideas?
