RE: NFS Problem revisited

Is anyone here exporting a mail spool from a RH 7.1 machine to a non-RH
7.1 machine?

Thanks,
CC

*bonk*

Yes I meant RH 7.1.

I will look at the kernel difference.

When you talk about Red Hat 7.2, are you referring to Roswell or the
other newer Beta version? Perhaps you're referring to Red Hat 7.1?

In any case, I've seen quite a few NFS interoperability issues between
IRIX and Linux that normally get fixed after switching the mounts to
NFSv2. By the way, keep in mind that the main difference between this
Red Hat 7.2 that you mention and SuSE 7.0 or 7.2 should be the kernel,
at least as far as NFS is affected. What kernels are those versions of
SuSE running? Did you try compiling and installing the same kernel
version in Red Hat?
