Just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion.  I happened to catch the thread 
and hadn't looked at xine before.  I had tried other apps without luck but 
xine came up and rocked the first time out.  For anyone else out there 
looking give it a try.  Grab the rpms on freshrpms.net if you want the easy 
route.
