rpm option for upgrading a zillion dependancies?

I want to try Evolution on my Red Hat 7.0 machine but there are
approximately a zillion dependencies. I downloaded the entire directory
(198 packages) so (hopefully) I have all the packages locally.

Is there a way to have rpm automatically install the packages it will need?
There are literally dozens and possibly complicating matters, some of the
packages are various versions of the same package. libgal, for example,
exists in versions 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, & 13.

The only way I can think of: 'rpm -Uvh *.rpm' seems like dangerous
overkill...
