cc is usual UNIX name for the C compiler.  On Linux systems, that's usually
an alias for gcc.

Turbo C has an Integrated Development Environment (IDE).  An IDE
incorporates an editor, file manager, debugger, and compiler.  I don't know
much about IDE's for Linux.  I'm sure there is something (emacs does this,
right?) but I would be surprised if it was just like Turbo C.
