Just delete it (rm is the command). It's leftover KDE stuff. I don't
know why it lefts trash behind, but it almost always does on my
computer. I don't even run KDE, but I do use some of the apps. Everytime
I use anything, it leaves that stuff behind after exiting. Asa matter of
fact:
$ locate libDCOP
/usr/lib/libDCOP.la
/usr/lib/libDCOP.so
/usr/lib/libDCOP.so.1
/usr/lib/libDCOP.so.1.0.0
$ rpm -qf /usr/lib/libDCOP.so
kdelibs-2.2.1-0.rh71.1.cups
I have that rpm installed but I never use cups. So why this gets placed
in my user $HOME directory is beyond my comprehension. Maybe questioning
the bloat-mongers over at the KDE development pages can get some
replies.
You can leave it alone or get rid of it. It doesn't hurt anything if
it's there. But, it will return any time you run anything KDE-related.
