If you let the installer autopartition, you'll likely need to do some
work (I did, anyway) because it created extended partitions that M$
couldn' deal with. Sorry, I have no clue what Zap is and maybe it can do
the work instead.
You can go into single-user mode, delete the extra partitions (all
except the one you're on) and then use M$ fdisk (fdisk /mbr) to get rid
of lilo. If for some reason you can't delete the extended partition, you
can boot from the CD for install, choose manual partition using fdisk,
then get rid of it that way. Then reset the machine, run M$ fdisk (as
above) and M$ can now handle everything like it wants (would have said
as it should except that M$ should never be allowed to handle any disk
drives without adult supervision).
