Au contraire, mon ami, Rawhide was a TV situ drama many ages back with some poofter doing lead as a mega-macho man, kick-butt cowboy, a la the Duke but skinnier. The original soundtrack went something like "Raaaawww Hide, shuka, shuk, shuk, shuka, shooooooo, hup, mon..." That fag kicked ass.
Funny, i forgot all about that completely till you mentioned it.
Raw Hide?!? I mean, really, what else could it be? The homos have invaded the RedHat home page.
Just my 2 dongs worth (USD1=VNDong15,000, today)

It may not work; you really shouldn't use it on production systems. Use at your own risk." Name appears to come from "raw hide" as in the stuff that will eventually become fine leather.
