Re: reset user password?

Thanks... All,
I know is bad idea for security reason, but it is more convenient for user
and admin, cause no password required.
I saw HP-UX is doing this way as below:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
login: gary
Your password has expired. Choose a new one
Changing password for gary
New password:
Re-enter new password:
Passwd successfully changed
login:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
then, I can login with my new password...
in order to do that, I only need replace existing password with ,.. in
/etc/passwd as below after gary:
gary:,..:128:114:Gary,,.....
